Usually, Alan and his team will arrive in advance and set up their equipment while the children are styled and prepared for the photographs. Class sizes vary, but Alan usually caters for 40-50 students, although obviously larger and smaller groups can be accommodated too.

Depending on the size of the class, Alan then spends around ten minutes with each child, working together with instructors to insure a happy medium between authentic technique and good photography.

Parents and children will then be able to see the results of the shoot directly afterwards, and place orders for the photographs they like. Photographs are then developed and mailed out either directly to parents, or to the dance school for collection.
